MESSAGE FROM SALSAGEORGE "creating your sytle"
Fashion is what is new, what’s trendy, and what’s hot and what’s not. Fashion can provide new ideas, fantastic opportunities, and really you’ve got to be kidding! Now I’m all for fashion, come on – I’m SalsaGeorge, but lost in the transition from the store (or internet) is what is right for you.
This is what I call creating your own sense of style. For many people, style can be defined by your age, job, residence, budget, religion, ethnicity, where you plan to hang out, or what’s not too wrinkly in your closet. I think the most important part of style is the process of deciding what is right for the situation you are preparing to enter, be it interviewing, working, networking, playing, dating or just hanging out with friends. So how do you determine what is right for you? First, identify the types of major activities you engage in such as work, after work, weekends, and activities.

For each situation identify what you want to achieve. Do you want to be noticed, approached, appreciated, ignored, or ?
Second, determine the level of impact do you want to achieve bold, subtle, or none. For example, SalsaGeorge style is about bold, bam, slam, and dam! We could call this the noticed / bold style. But just as effective could be the approachable/subtle style. Or sometimes the ignored/none style is might be just what you are after.
In preparing for what you will wear, start with one of the basics. It could be shirt, pants, or shoes. Then build up from there. This can be based upon color, textures, or just what looks good together. It could be matching or contrasting. As possible, add in something unique: a cool belt, awesome watch, or nice cologne (not to strong), hat (you can borrow one of mine if you like). And don't forget your business or personal card. There you've got your own sense of style.
